Whether you’re a Phillie’s fan worried about home secrity Philadelphia or you’re more of a Braves kind of guy chowing down at the Varsity you’ve got to appreciate all the great teams in and around Orlando. It’s one of the most overlooked sports cities in the US but we don’t know why! There’s plenty to do here other than visit the mouse!
Orlando Magic – Overshadowed this year and last by the Miami Heat, the Magic actually has a pretty decent roster. With a lot of influential pull behind the scenes and a well-established fan base taking in a game can be a great activity.
Orlando Predators – If you’re into football but you just can’t swing the NFL enthusiasm you’ve got what you’re looking for with the AFL. The field is shorter and the action much closer and the Predators are one of the best teams in the country.
The Knights – The University of Central Florida actually has a pretty active athletic system with a powerhouse football and basketball team, too. It’s cheaper and more accessible than some of the pro sports in town!
