65 ft. - Mega Obstacle Course
EVENTS:
  • MEGA OBSTACLE COURSE
  • STANDING BROAD JUMP
  • VERTICAL JUMP
  • PULL UPS
  • 65’ Mega Obstacle: This is a timed event to completion. Depending on the number of competitors, this event could be a one-time run through, or your best time out of 3.

Standing Broad Jump: The athlete will stand with his/her feet on or behind the jump line. The heels of the athlete's feet will be chalked. When the athlete’s feet touch, the chalk on their heels will mark the distance that they jumped. Then there will be a measurement taken from the leading edge of the jump line and the nearest chalk mark left by the heel of the athlete. Each athlete will get two jumps. The furthest jump will be the one that counts.

Vertical Jump: The vertical jump will be measured by a jump measuring device called “The Vertical Challenger". The athlete will stand under the device motionless. The athlete can squat and jump straight up. They cannot run and jump. The athlete, with the furthest extended hand, will swipe the furthest numbered bar that they can reach. This will be the athlete’s recorded vertical jump.

Pull Ups: Pull ups will be done with palms facing outward. Once the athlete starts the event their feet cannot touch the ground. They cannot pause between reps for more than three seconds. The athlete's arms must be fully extended between reps. The pull up motion must be smooth and not jerky. Pull ups are done to failure or when any of the above rules are violated.
